Seogwipo-siA stone-paved coastal path on Jeju's Ilchul-ro leads straight toward the open ocean, the vanishing point landing right at the horizon where deep blue sea meets cloudless sky. Grassy embankments rise on both sides, wild and wind-bent, with white wildflowers dotting the green. At the end of the path, just before the cliff edge, a wooden pergola shelter stands as the only man-made structure in view. The composition has the pull of a road movie still, the path acting as a leading line that draws you irresistibly toward the sea. May's clear weather gives the sky an almost unreal depth of blue that takes up the entire upper half of the portrait frame, making this an excellent lock screen where the path sits below the clock and the sky provides breathing room above.
