A slightly lower and wider view of the same night scene at Hallgrimskirkja in Reykjavik shows the stepped concrete ribs rising toward the tower like organ pipes. The stained glass window glows in warm orange, blue and red within its pointed arch, set above the heavy dark entrance. Small ground lights at the base throw bright streaks up the rough columns. The sky is completely black, and only a low glow of distant buildings and a bright sign appears at the far left. On the right, the tall columns shorten and widen across the wall, ending at a thin metal handrail.
