The real peak sits small and hazy at the far end, tinted blue-gray by the air. Green pines and leafy trees line both banks, while a sandy bar and a fallen log lie on the right shore. Rocks and exposed roots collect at the left edge of the water. The reflection is darker and broken by faint ripples, so the water reads as a green and slate-blue mirror.
