Below them, tall conifers rise from a green forest, with one thin tree leaning at an angle across the middle. A shallow river runs in the foreground, scattered with round stones, driftwood and clumps of bright green grass. A larger tuft of grass stands on the right beside a pale log. The water is dark and clear, with soft ripples between the stones, and bushes with yellow-green leaves frame the left side. Gray pebbles and a few pale branches lie in the clear water near the bottom, and the cliffs behind show deep upright cracks.
