Floating leaves cover much of a still pond in Seoul Forest, leaving dark channels of open water that reflect the surrounding trees. Tall waterside plants line the far bank, where a few visitors and a rectangular installation appear among the greenery. The leaves form an irregular surface pattern, broken by smooth areas where reflected foliage appears almost black. Across the pond, the upright plants make a denser edge between water and trees. The people and framed installation are comparatively small details in that green boundary. Pale sky above and mirrored trees below give the view two different kinds of open space around the planted bank.
