Rangárþing eystra, IcelandStanding behind the falls at Seljalandsfoss, the camera looks across the water curtain toward a wide plain of dry gold grass. Thin veils of water hang down the right side, and a dark rock ceiling arches overhead with moss clinging to its lower edge. A shallow stream spills over black gravel and bends toward a small bridge, with a line of walkers crossing it. Spray rolls across the bottom of the frame in a white haze. The sky is evenly gray, with a faint pale band at the horizon. Two or three walkers in red jackets stand on a rise at the far left, small against the grass.
