Prags - Braies, ItalyA clear, shallow stream spills across the foreground and into a green mountain lake near Prags in South Tyrol. A single log lies on the stones, and white wildflowers crowd the bank on the left. Tall spruce branches hang in from both sides, with bright new leaves on the right-hand trees. Across the water, a gray mountain with snow in its upper folds rises under broken clouds and patches of blue. Its lower slopes show pale scree and a thin line of forest, all repeated softly on the lake. Some visitors stand at a railing on the far left shore.
