Several of them glow pale turquoise against the slate water, while others sit low and dark with a layer of grit on top. Beyond the far shore, a long white glacier tongue runs between dark, snow-dusted ridges. A thin band of yellow light squeezes under the clouds at the far left. In the foreground, brown gravel banks curve along the water, and two tiny figures stand near the right edge. The water is nearly still, and each iceberg leaves a short pale reflection beneath it.
