On the left, a single dark rock stack covered in moss stands on the beach, its sides streaked with texture. Further along, a tan cliff with a flat top ends in the water, and a few jagged sea stacks rise at the far horizon. The sea is a muted grey-green, and heavy layered clouds fill most of the sky with a pale gap near the horizon. Reflections from the wet sand echo the clouds, giving the foreground a glossy sheen in southern Iceland.
