Clouds break apart across the sky in layers of white, blue and grey, with a warm yellow glow near the left edge. Tire-like tracks and ripples trace faint lines across the sand in the foreground, and dry golden grass patches the ground on the right. Beyond them, wet ponds and brown fields lead toward a distant line of blue mountains. The water is smooth, with a slightly brighter sheen near the middle of southern Iceland's coast.
