Golden hour reaches its peak along Iljeong-ro at the border of Guhwang-dong and Wolseong-dong in Gyeongju, where summer foliage turns incandescent in the low-angled August light. Every leaf edge becomes a glowing filament, and the canopy seems to radiate warmth from within rather than merely reflecting it. This stretch of Gyeongju's park system passes through what archaeologists believe was the ceremonial processional route of the Silla court, and the boulevard-width of the path today preserves something of that ancient grand scale. The color palette narrows to a range between deep forest green and molten gold, with the transitional sky adding whispers of lavender at the edges.
