A wide, stony valley opens in the middle, patched with melting snow, grey rock slabs and green scrub. A thin path crosses the slope near the right-hand cliffs. Overhead, soft cirrus and several white contrails stretch in different directions across a pale to deep blue sky. At the far right, a pale mountain range with snowy ridges closes the distance, while the snow in the middle ground is pitted and grey where it has begun to thaw.
