Pla de Mallorca, SpainA weathered wooden pier runs straight out into the sea at Platja de Muro on Mallorca. Its boards have darkened to brown and are divided by thin gaps that converge toward a pair of posts at the far end. Turquoise ripples fill both sides, greener in the foreground and paler near the horizon. Heavy white cumulus rises above the middle of the frame, with patches of deep blue showing between the clouds. A low headland with a few small buildings sits on the far left, while a faint grey ridge fades into haze on the right.
