Pla de Mallorca, SpainSeen from a slightly different spot on the same pier at Muro, the planks now lean a little left and the end posts sit just right of center. Wind has roughened the water, so short white crests break across the green and teal surface. Above the horizon, a broad bank of cumulus has a dark grey underside and bright edges, with blue sky opening on both sides. Small buildings and a hill line the shore at left, and a distant mountain shape sits low on the right. The nearest boards are the lightest, bleached by sun, and their ends show a few darker nail marks.
