MokpoAutumn's last colors cling to the coastal vegetation along Mokpo's waterfront, where amber and russet foliage meets the steel-blue surface of the Yellow Sea. The late November palette here is distinctly Korean in its restraint - not the blazing maples of Naejangsan an hour to the northeast, but a quieter, saltier version of autumn where maritime winds have already stripped most leaves and what remains carries the bleached quality of coastal exposure. The sea stretches toward the Dadohae islands in graduated bands of blue, and the natural vegetation in the foreground grounds the scene in the organic textures of Korea's southwestern coastline.
