Welschnofen - Nova Levante, ItalyA turquoise lake lies below a dark band of spruce forest and a wall of pale, jagged peaks at Lake Carezza. The mountain's upper ridges are patched with snow, and thick clouds roll above them with small gaps of blue. Along the near shore, flat stones and yellow-brown grass separate the forest from the clear water. The lake shifts from deep teal in the shadows to bright aqua over the shallows, where submerged rocks are visible. At the lower left, bright green leaves cross the frame. A faint fence appears among the trees at the far left, and a grassy slope rises on the right.
