Provincia di Trento, ItalyTwo jagged gray rock peaks rise above a steep hillside of dense conifer forest in the Dolomites. The left peak is a broad, sheer wall of pale gray and tan stone with a few thin streaks of snow in its crevices. The right peak is sharper, its pinnacles ending against a mass of white and gray cumulus. Small patches of deep blue sky open between the clouds. A bright green clearing sits at the lower right, and the dark edge of a roof reaches in from the corner. The forest brightens to yellow-green where new growth catches the sun.
