Parks & GardensEarly evening descends over Gyeongju's Jungang-ro in Jungbu-dong, where the park that runs through the city center transitions from afternoon brightness to the softer, more contemplative light of approaching dusk. Summer trees stand in full leaf, their silhouettes beginning to deepen as the sun angle drops. Gyeongju's central green belt, which follows the course of ancient waterways through the Silla capital, remains one of Korea's most walkable urban parks, connecting the major tumuli clusters and temple sites through unbroken corridors of shade and grass.
