Coconino County, United StatesOrange light pours from a sun sitting right on the Grand Canyon horizon at the left, with long soft rays slanting down into the darkening gorge. Layers of purple and gray cloud sit above a glowing band of amber, and higher up the sky turns pale blue with yellow edges. A tiny bright spot of light glints on a ridge at the right. The canyon walls are dark and layered, fading into violet haze, while a rough pale cliff and scrub fill the lower left corner. The rim is almost silhouetted, and warmth lives mostly in the clouds and the thin bar of light below them.
