Serra de Tramuntana, SpainRocky limestone cliffs rise above a pine-covered slope behind the old stone houses of Deià. The mountain face is grey and sand-colored, cut by shadowed gullies, while dark green forest fills the lower folds. In front, tiled roofs and pale walls with green shutters sit among cypress, palm and olive trees. A pink flowering tree glows beside the rooftops at the lower right. White clouds gather at the summit, and the sky above them is a clear, deep blue. Green shutters and a small iron balcony show on the stone houses at the right. The trees in the middle ground are lit from the left, and the shaded folds of the mountain stay in cool blue.
