Miraflores, PeruThe front of the Virgen Milagrosa church in Miraflores rises in a wall of carved stone, lit from below so that every ledge and column casts a small shadow. A central arch frames a wooden door with glass panels, and a few visitors stand at the threshold beside a small stall. Above it, a stained-glass window glows blue and red, and statues sit in niches on both sides of the entrance. Two towers climb out of the top corners of the frame against a black sky. Street lamps curve into view at the lower left and right.
