Taichung, TaiwanAcross a broad lawn in Taichung, the Luce Chapel curves upward in a tall, tent-like form. Its sloping roof wall is covered in tiny golden-brown tiles laid in a diamond grid, and a thin cross stands at the peak. The dark glass front shows between two concrete edges, with low steps at its base. Two visitors walk along a pale dirt path on the left, one carrying an umbrella, while another stands near the door.
