The waterway reflects the clean autumn light in bands of steel blue, flanked by concrete embankment walls and the iron-working workshops that gave Mullae-dong its character. Modern apartment towers rise beyond the older industrial fabric, and the crisp early-autumn air sharpens every architectural edge. Mullae has transformed from a declining metalworking quarter into one of Seoul's most vivid art districts, but the stream and its industrial surroundings retain the gritty authenticity that first attracted artists here.
