Taichung, TaiwanA narrow passage at Rainbow Village in Taichung runs between brick walls painted in broad stacked bands of blue, red, teal, yellow and pink. The wall on the left looms close, its stripes shrinking toward a small mural of a white figure at the far end. Underfoot, the concrete path is painted blue with rows of concentric yellow and red rings. On the right, a lower wall ends in stacked red brick posts. Beyond it, a sunlit street with a lamp post, a scooter and a few pedestrians sits under large trees, and pale apartment blocks show through the leaves.
