At the left, a tall fin of rock catches the sun and carries a few green shrubs near its top. At the bottom, tufts of grass and small cacti grow in the dry gully, partly hidden by the shade. In the background, a brown mountain with banded layers runs across the right side, with a few houses near its base. The sky above is a deep, cloudless blue.
