Seen from a shaded hillside, Iguazu Falls runs along the far side of a wide river gorge. White water spills over several ledges, and a thin veil of mist hangs above the main drop. A reddish rock outcrop rises from the green slope near the center, and a brown river curves toward the right edge between steep wooded banks. Tree branches hang into the top corners, one thin vine dangling near the middle, and tall palms and broadleaf shrubs fill the foreground. The sky is a deep, even blue with only a few faint streaks near the left, and a long green forest line closes the horizon.
