Cherry BlossomAlong Gyerim-ro in Gyeongju's Hwangnam-dong, summer park plantings create a layered pattern of green textures at the boundary where the city's historic core meets its public gardens. The Gyerim Forest, legendary birthplace of the Kim clan that ruled the Silla Dynasty, lies just beyond this path, and the park designs deliberately blur the line between recreational green space and archaeological preserve.
