The south end shows a lattice steel arch and concrete pylons at the left, with a dark rocky edge in the lower left corner. Thin white lines of wind ripples crisscross the surface. Beyond the second tower, brown hills slope toward a small sailboat with a white sail, and another with a blue sail near the right. A few streaks of thin cloud hover in the otherwise clear blue sky, and the afternoon sun picks out the red paint on the tower.
