Xã Tả Van, VietnamA steep forested slope runs diagonally across the frame, with low cloud trailing along its upper ridge. The trees range from dark green to yellow-green, and a few clusters of pink blossoms stand out near the lower left. Bare pale branches rise here and there among the leaves, especially at the right. At the top the ridge line fades into soft grey mist, and the sky has no visible detail. Fine texture covers the hillside, made up of individual treetops and small gaps between them. The pink flowers are the only color that breaks the green.
