A tunnel-like art installation in Muwang-ri, Yangpyeong-gun, features hundreds of white ceramic or porcelain-like objects suspended on thin vertical strings within a concrete underpass or corridor. The objects, which appear to be small cups, pods, or abstract organic forms, hang at varying heights throughout the space, creating a three-dimensional cloud of floating white shapes against the gray concrete walls and ceiling. A narrow gravel path leads through the center of the installation toward an arched opening at the far end, through which green trees and natural daylight are visible, creating a striking contrast between the contained art space and the natural world beyond. The concrete walls on either side show signs of weathering, with moss and vegetation growing along the lower edges where the structure meets the ground. The strings catch and reflect the ambient light, creating subtle vertical lines that add to the ethereal quality of the installation. The overall effect is dreamlike and poetic, as though walking through a gentle rain of frozen droplets or entering a cocoon of suspended natural forms. This outdoor art installation exemplifies the creative integration of contemporary art into the rural landscape of Gyeonggi Province.
