Massive weathered concrete pillars and angular walls create a monumental entrance passage at one of the repurposed oil tank structures in Seongsan 2-dong's culture park. The brutalist architecture features thick concrete beams and supports that form geometric frames within frames, with the raw surface showing decades of staining, moss growth, and mineral deposits in warm ochre and cool gray tones. Through the central opening, a modern glass door and corridor are visible, revealing the contemporary interior renovation hidden within the industrial shell. Metal railings and remnant pipe brackets on the upper structure hint at the building's former mechanical function. Lush green vegetation encroaches from the right side, with summer foliage pressing against the concrete edges as nature gradually reasserts itself. The perspective draws the eye through the layered concrete openings toward the recessed entrance, creating a sense of entering something ancient yet repurposed. The sheer mass of the concrete combined with its weathered beauty gives this structure the gravitas of a modern ruin reimagined as a living cultural space.
